This is a beginning belly dance class for adults. In this class, we'll learn FatChanceBellyDance® style, which is a modern American style of belly dance that is known and celebrated across all continents. This earthy, grounded, style of belly dance is reminiscent of the tribal dances of North Africa and India with some Spanish influence as well. It is improvisational, which means we continually create new combinations based on the music. The dance is designed like a language so we all learn the same vocabulary and cues and can follow each other. This is a fun, interactive class where we move our bodies, dance with each other, and make connections with our fellow dancers. No dance experience is necessary.

Cabaret Choreography

Dive deep into the classic steps and movements of American Cabaret Belly Dance! We will focus on a specific choreography in preparation for a performance at All Hallows Medieval Fantasy Faire in Billings on October 6th. We will focus on refining our choreography and musicallity, along with strenthening and toning our dance bodies. We will also be working with veils and canes. Want a sneak peak of the choreogrpahy? New dancers of all levels are welcome! Please note that is section is working towards a performance.
